Brat, starring Darling Krishna and directed by Shashank, is continuing its successful run after its release last week. The film, produced by Manjunath Kandakoor under the Dolphin Entertainment banner, has now joined the list of recently performing Kannada films. The film team shared details about its progress during a press meet.
Director Shashank said the film revolves around the theme of cricket betting and was expected to primarily attract youth. However, he noted that family audiences have also been turning up in large numbers. He added that viewers across class and mass segments have been responding positively and appreciating performances, especially Krishna’s role as Kristy.
The team has visited multiple theatres since release and observed encouraging audience reactions. He requested those who have not watched the film yet to visit theatres with their families. Preparations are also underway for releases in other languages, with Telugu planned first.

Darling Krishna said his new look and character have received appreciation from family members, friends, and fans. He mentioned that his wife had never commented on his appearance for any previous film, but after watching Brat, she complimented his on-screen presence. He credited the director and thanked the producer and the entire team.
Producer Manjunath Kandakoor expressed gratitude to the audience for their support, and to Shashank and the team for delivering a strong film for Dolphin Entertainment. He stated that the banner will continue to produce more films in the future.
Actress Manisha Kandakoor also thanked the audience for contributing to the film’s performance. Actor Dragon Manju shared his happiness about the response to his role. Cinematographer Abhilash Kalathi, stunt director Mass Mada, and actors Srivatsa, Sanchit, Giriraj, and Shivaprasad also expressed their satisfaction with the success.
The team released a video clip addressing why the character Dollar Mani is learning English, hinting at the possibility of Brat Part 2.
