Actor-director Anish Tejeshwar’s upcoming Kannada film Love OTP is set to hit theatres on November 14. The film’s trailer has been released, and the project marks Anish’s directorial debut as well as his entry into the Telugu film industry. Love OTP has been simultaneously made in Kannada and Telugu. The film blends themes of father-son relationships, love, and romance with commercial elements. It was shot over a span of 65 days.
Speaking at the trailer launch, Anish Tejeshwar said that with the support of his friend and producer Vijay Reddy, he was able to make a quality film without compromising on the story or presentation. He added that senior Telugu actor Rajeev Kanakala has acted in Kannada for the first time and has also dubbed his own lines. The cast includes Ravi Bhatt, Pramodini, Tulasi, Chetan, Swaroopini, and Jaanvika, all of whom have delivered strong performances. Anish expressed confidence that audiences will enjoy the film.

Actress Jaanvika, who plays a physiotherapist in the film, said this is her third Kannada project and that she found her role both challenging and rewarding.
Producer Vijay Reddy shared that he has been friends with Anish for 16 years, and their collaboration began after hearing the story during a visit to Chamundi Temple. He explained that their production banner, Bhavapreetha, means “those loved by the universe,” and that Love OTP is the company’s first film.
The film was shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu, and the team aims to continue creating fresh and innovative projects. Telugu actor Rajeev Kanakala said that just as director Rajamouli introduced him to cinema, Anish has brought him into Kannada films, adding that he considers Anish to be “like Rajamouli” in that regard.
Actor Ravi Bhatt praised Anish’s passion, discipline, and commitment, noting that he managed the cast effectively while ensuring a smooth shooting experience. He said he hopes Love OTP will serve as a strong validation of Anish’s talent as both an actor and director.
Another actor, Natyaranga, commented that Anish handled the dual roles of actor and director with great effort and skill, and that the film features an emotional blend of humour and sentiment. Lyricist Nagarjuna Sharma and other members of the team were also present and shared their insights about the film.
