The film Maarutha, directed by S. Narayan and starring Duniya Vijay and Shreyas Manju in lead roles, has been granted a U/A certificate by the regional censor board without any cuts. The board noted that the film contains several socially relevant themes beneficial to society. The highly anticipated film is scheduled to release statewide on October 31.
Produced under the K. Manju – Ramesh Yadav Esha Productions banner, Maarutha has drawn attention since its announcement, bringing together director S. Narayan, popular actor Duniya Vijay, and young actor Shreyas K. Manju. Songs and the teaser, released through Jankar Music, have already reached audiences, increasing anticipation for the film.
The film is a high-budget production with S. Narayan handling the story and direction. P.K.H. Das is the cinematographer, Shivaprasad Yadav the editor, and Vinod and Arjun directed the stunts. Dance sequences are choreographed by Mohan Kumar and Santu, while the music is composed by S. Narayan and Jessigift.
The cast includes Duniya Vijay, Shreyas K. Manju, Brinda (heroine), Sadhu Kokila, Nishvika Naidu, Rangayana Raghu, Tara Anuradha, Sharath Lohitashwa, Pramod Shetty, Manju Pavagada, Chitra Shenai, Sujay Shastri, with a special appearance by Craze Star Ravichandran.
