Service connects Electronics City with various parts of Bengaluru
The service connects Electronics City with various parts of Bengaluru, offering a reliable and efficient alternative to the city’s notorious traffic and high toll costs. Operating 60 buses with 294 trips daily, the service is scheduled every 10 minutes from Madavara and other city routes, making it highly convenient for commuters, especially those working in IT and BT sectors.
Passenger numbers have surged significantly, from 62,000 monthly riders initially to nearly four lakh within five months. Revenue growth has mirrored this, with figures rising from ₹1.39 crore in April 2025 to ₹1.46 crore in August. On average, the service generates ₹4.89 lakh daily.
For passengers traveling from towns like Hassan and Tumakuru, the service offers a more time-efficient route, directly connecting them to Electronics City without the need to reach Majestic. BMTC is expanding the fleet and exploring new routes to accommodate growing demand, further cementing the service’s role in transforming daily commutes.
