‘Kuntebille’ Kannada film that gives nostalgic feels right from the title from the director of ‘Dakshayajna and Tarle Village’ is another rural story releasing on September 26 all over Karnataka.
Director GBS Siddegowda, who earned fame with Dakshayajna and Tarle Village, is bringing yet another rural-flavored tale to the screen. Young actor Yadu is making his entry into Sandalwood as a hero for the first time. Megha Shree, who has acted in more than ten films including Bhojpuri and other languages, will be seen as the heroine. In supporting roles, Suchendra Prasad, Bhavani Prakash, Sudha Belawadi, Kavya, and others have acted.
“Kuntebille is the game we all used to play in our childhood. With the same title, we are bringing a story filled with love, pain, and desire with a rural flavor. The film has love and suspense elements. The story revolves around how we ourselves ruin our own love with our own hands. We have confidence in our film. A week after our release, ‘Kantara 1’ is coming, but we have no fear of that. We are certain the audience will love and watch our movie,” said Siddegowda BS director of the film.
Producer Kumar Gowda, who is also the hero’s father, said, we have worked hard on this film for many months. It is my wish that my son becomes a good actor. Thirty years ago, I came to Bangalore with a dream of becoming an artist, but that did not happen. Now, I am fulfilling that dream through my son. I request your support and encouragement for this film he concluded.
I entered this field to fulfill my father’s dream. I actually wanted to become a cricketer and had even taken training for it. But to fulfill my father’s wish I gave it up halfway. I trained in theater and after completing my education, I turned to acting. In this film, I play a young man who works at a poultry farm. The story is about what he does to save his love mentioned protagonist Yadu.
Actress Sudha Belawadi, who played an important role in the film, said, right now Kannada cinema is going through some tough times, so the media should support this film. Even big star actors should come forward to promote and support the films they act in she felt.
Megha Shree said, “My role is very bold. It’s not easy to do such a role. I accepted this role because it’s a special story and a special character. The entire story revolves around me. My role has great importance. There’s one particular scene that will shock you all when you watch it. It’s that kind of a special story. In this film, I play different games like Kuntebille, Volleyball, and more.”
The film is produced under the banner Jeevita Creation by GBS, S.B. Shiva, and Kumar Gowda G. Dialogues are written by B.A. Madhu. Music is composed by Harikavya with three songs. Cinematography is by Munjane Manju. Yadu and Megha Shree play the lead roles, while Suchendra Prasad, Sudha Belawadi, Shankar Ashwath, Balarajawadi, Bhavani Prakash, and Kavya are also part of the cast. The film is releasing on September 26.
