To create a smarter and more efficient network, the project will upgrade pipelines, reduce water leakages, and introduce smart meters for better monitoring and supply management. These upgrades will not only improve the quality of water delivery but also minimize wastage, a key challenge in a fast-growing urban hub like Bengaluru.
The government has highlighted that the benefits of the Water Resilience Project will reach more than 4 million residents, ensuring stronger water security and robust flood protection measures for the city.
