The team of the upcoming pan-India film “Koragajja”, which is in the final stages of release preparations, took part in actress Shruti’s 50th birthday celebrations. Shruti plays the special role of Koragajja’s foster mother Bairakke in the film.
Director Sudheer Attavar, actress Bhavya, producer Trivikram Sapalya, executive producer and editor Vidyadhar Shetty, along with others, attended the event and conveyed their wishes with mementoes and flower bouquets.
At the program, several actors, directors, and producers from the industry expressed their curiosity about the film and asked questions about “Koragajja”. The release of the film had been delayed due to the VFX and graphics work, which cost around ₹2 crore. With all technical work now complete, the movie is ready for release.
Shruti’s role as Bairakke is being described as a lifetime performance. The climax sequence featuring her was shot four times.
The film features Hollywood actor Kabir Bedi, Bhavya, Bollywood choreographers Sandeep Soparrkar and Ganesh Acharya, actress Shubha Poonja, and introduces a new Kannada talent, Hrithik. Produced under the banners of Trivikram Cinemas and Success Films, the movie has music by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by noted Malayalam DOP Manoj Pillai.
During her birthday celebration, Shruti honored the director and team of “Koragajja” with shawls and mementoes, while expressing her excitement for the film’s release.
