Coming out of a challenging period in his life, Comedy Kiladigalu reality show fame Madenoor Manu celebrated his birthday by announcing two new films, following his previous Kannada film Kuladalli Kilyavudo.
On this special occasion, the title of his upcoming film was revealed as Muttharasa. In addition, the poster for another film, Vicharane, was unveiled.
Muttharasa is being produced under the banner of J.K. Movies by K.M. Nataraj. The event saw the presence of renowned actor Vasishta Simha, senior actors M.S. Umesh and Kari Subbu, and Umesh Banakar, President of the Karnataka Film Producers’ Association, as chief guests. They extended birthday wishes to Manu and conveyed their best wishes for his upcoming projects.
Padmashri Manjamma Jogathi, who unveiled the film’s title, shared that everyone should learn to respect time in life. She expressed that there is a ‘Paramathma’ (divine presence) within everyone and showered her blessings for Muttharasa with symbolic pearls of goodwill.
Taking the opportunity to offer advice, Vasishta Simha encouraged Madenoor Manu to maintain a positive attitude and avoid controversies. “When we board an airplane, it doesn’t become ours,” he remarked, metaphorically reminding Manu to stay grounded.
Speaking at the event, Madenoor Manu said, “A few days ago, I went through a very difficult phase in life. But now, I’ve moved past those experiences. I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me during that time. Today, I feel blessed as we unveil the title of my new film. I had earlier worked with Vasishta Simha in the film Talwar Pete. The title Muttharasa was originally given to me by director Ram Narayan during Kuladalli Kilyavudo. Shooting for the new film will begin next month, and details about the director and cast will be announced soon.”
He added, “I also fondly remember N.R. Ramesh, Shivakumar Nayak, Yogaraj Bhat, and my previous film’s producers Santosh Kumar, Vidya, and director Ram Narayan.”
Regarding his other project, he stated, “My film Vicharane, in which I play the lead role, is expected to release by the end of this year.”
Producer K.M. Nataraj shared his thoughts, saying, “Manu had acted in a film I produced earlier. Muttharasa is our second collaboration. I thank all the dignitaries who came together to unveil the title today.”
