Having already won the hearts of cinema lovers through its songs and trailer, the film is now set to release statewide this Friday (Sept. 12).
M.D. Sridhar, who has mostly directed star films like Bul Bul, Krishna, Chellata, Porki, and Odeya, has returned to calling “action–cut” after a gap following Odeya. The film has been produced by H.C. Suresh under the banner Mahathi Combines, who has been serving the film industry for three decades.
Along with lead are Praveen Tej and Anjali S. Aneesh the film features an ensemble of well-known actors such as Achyuth Kumar, Ravishankar Gowda, Avinash, Swathi, Lakshmi Sidayya and others.
Jamboo Circus is a family entertainer. There isn’t just a hero or heroine here—every character in the film is a lead, and together they narrate the story. The story is about two friends who studied in the same school and college, get married on the same day in the same wedding hall, and build houses opposite each other in the same area. Coincidentally, both have children on the same day. While the friends cherish their deep bond, their wives raise their children like rivals. What happens when these children, raised as adversaries like heirs in a family feud, grow up? What do they do, and how do things unfold between them? This is the concept of the film. The film has three fight sequences and four songs, explains director MD Sridhar.
In Jamboo Circus, Krishna Kumar (K.K) has worked as cinematographer, Raghu Niduvalli as dialogue writer, and Gnanesh as editor. Supreeth Shetty has also contributed as a co-producer. Lyrics for the songs are penned by Jayant Kaikini, Dr. Nagendra Prasad, and Kaviraj, while Vasuki Vaibhav has composed the music.
