The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has announced the inclusion of 75 additional BDA residential plots in its ongoing e-auction of developed sites across Bengaluru. With this expansion, the total number of plots available in the current round has risen to 197, building on the earlier offering of 122 sites.
The newly listed plots are spread across some of the city’s established residential zones, including HSR Layout, HAL 2nd Stage, Arkavathy 7th Block, Anjanapura 10th Block, Hemmigepura, UM Kaval, and Thanisandra. These locations are well-connected and already developed, making them attractive for potential homebuyers seeking ready-to-build plots within the city limits.

Application deadline
Applications for participation must be submitted by September 6, 2025, which is also the deadline for payment of the earnest money deposit (EMD). Detailed guidelines, including site specifications and bidding instructions, are available on the BDA’s official website.
The BDA e-auction will be conducted in phases through BDA’s electronic bidding system. All plots are being offered strictly on an “as-is, where-is” basis, in line with the authority’s standard auction norms.
BDA officials noted that the move is part of the authority’s broader effort to unlock land value, enhance transparency in site allocation, and generate revenue. By offering more options within prime and semi-prime neighborhoods, the auction is expected to draw strong interest from individual buyers and investors looking for plots in developed layouts.
