To address overcrowding and safety risks near railway tracks, BMRCL has put up steel barricades at RV Road Metro Station, a key Yellow–Green Line interchange.
The opening of the Yellow Line turned RV Road Metro Station into a busy interchange point with the Green Line. The sudden spike in passenger traffic led to heavy crowding on platforms, raising fears of accidents near the tracks.
