A devoted fan named Karthik decorated the Arulmigu Sri Rajini Temple in Madurai with more than 5,500 pictures of the actor. This temple, dedicated to Rajinikanth, was filled with images from his movies and career milestones.

Karthik and his family performed special rituals, including abhishekam (holy bathing), to honour the actor’s golden jubilee in the film industry. The deep admiration shows how much Rajinikanth means to fans especially in Tamil Nadu.
300-kg idol of Rajinikanth
The temple, which was opened just a few years ago, has a 300-kg idol of Rajinikanth and stands as a symbol of the love fans have for the superstar. Karthik treats Rajinikanth not just as a favourite actor but like a godly figure and the celebration was a way to thank him for inspiring generations.
Rajinikanth began his journey in 1975 with Apoorva Raagangal and at 74, continues to lead Tamil cinema with unmatched charm. From Thalapathy and Sivaji to Jailer and Robot his movies have left a lasting impact.
His last film was Vettaiyan and fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming movie Coolie, directed by Lokesh.
