Dinesh, who became known to the Kannada film audience for his role as Suri Anna in the superhit movie Salaga, has now taken on multiple responsibilities in his new film titled Suri Anna. He has written the story and screenplay, directed the film, and also produced it. Recently, the teaser launch event of Suri Anna was held in a grand manner. Retired police officer S. K. Umesh, Lahari Velu, H. M. Krishnamurthy (Jedralli Krishnappa), P. Murthy, Gadda Naganna, Zebra, Lucky Anna, Motté Kanna from Srirampura, and others attended the function, unveiled the teaser, and extended their best wishes to the team. After the release, the dignitaries and members of the film team spoke on stage.
Dinesh said, “Many of the people here today have been a source of inspiration for me. I am also grateful for the blessings and support of my father K. Dorai and mother Jyothiyamma. My brother Vijay is the co-producer of this film. Earlier, a rowdyism-based story like Om achieved great success. Suri Anna too is based on the theme of rowdyism. But the film carries a strong message that no one should engage in such a lifestyle. Everyone has a family, and that is the most important thing. This film aims to deliver that message especially to the youth. My name is Dinesh. After Salaga, everyone started referring to me as Suri Anna, based on my character. I have directed and produced this film, and also acted as the lead. The heroine is Sambhramashree.”
The film features Ravi Kale, Harish Roy, Cockroach Sudhi, Prakash Tuminad, S. K. Umesh, international bodybuilder Prasad, Vedi Anna (Bhasha Bhai), Chaitral Rangaswamy, Benaka Nanjappa, Lady Don Yashaswini Gowda, Baby Marisha, Praveen Raj, and others in key roles. Cinematography is by M. B. Alikatti, editing by N. M. Vishwa, choreography by N. Raj, art direction by Vishwa G., and stunt direction by Jaguar Sannappa. The film includes five songs, composed by K. M. Indra. Background score is by Sridhar Kashyap. Lyrics have been penned by Dinesh (Suri Anna), Vishwa G., and Pyatho Prajju. Senior filmmaker Ranjith Tigidhi has served as the creative head.

Dinesh added that shooting has already been completed and the film will hit theatres within the next two months.
Actor Cockroach Sudhi commented, “Only a mother can speak about labor pain — no one else can. Similarly, only those who’ve experienced the world of rowdyism can speak of the pain it brings. This film attempts not only to share those experiences but also to convey a strong message: no one should walk that path.”
Heroine Sambhramashree, Lady Don Yashaswini Gowda, I-fame actor Kamaraj, international bodybuilder Prasad, music director K. M. Indra, and other team members also spoke about the film Suri Anna.
