The upcoming Kannada film Shivaganga, directed by Shreemanzu and produced under the banner of Shree Panchami Cine Creations, recently held its music launch event. The songs, composed by Harsha Kagodu and released through Siri Music, have started to connect with the audience.
Actor-producer Kumar C.V plays the lead role in the film and is also the producer. He has taken up the project after being impressed by the story narrated by director Shreemanzu, who has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Shivaganga.
Speaking at the event, Shreemanzu said that Shivaganga refers to the names of two characters in the film. He described it as a romance-driven story that also carries a social message. He added that the film includes all the elements expected by viewers. Actress Rivansi plays the female lead.
The supporting cast includes Sangeetha, Pushpa, Sudheendra, Shivamogga Ramanna, Nataraj, Bhagyaamma, and Nagaraj. The film features four songs composed by Harsha Kagodu. Cinematography is by Sunay Jain, and production management is handled by Gurumurthy. Filming has been completed and the movie is now ready for release.
An interesting detail revealed by the team is that while the climax of the film has not been shot, it does exist — and audiences will have to watch the film to find out how it unfolds. Shivaganga marks Shreemanzu’s eighth directorial venture.
Speaking at the event, Kumar C.V stated that he is originally a farmer and also involved in real estate. Acting in films had been his long-standing dream, which is now being realised. He decided to produce the film himself after liking the story narrated by Shreemanzu. He credited the entire team for their cooperation and said the film will be released soon.
The press meet was attended by lead actress Rivansi, cast member Sangeetha (who plays the role of Ganga), production manager Gurumurthy, music director Harsha Kagodu, cinematographer Sunay Jain, and artistes Bhagyaamma and Nataraj.
