The song “Naane Neenante” from the upcoming multilingual film BRAT, starring Darling Krishna, has been released via Anand Audio and is receiving a positive response from listeners. Directed by Shashank and produced by Manjunath Kandakur, the film is being made in five languages — Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Arjun Janya has composed the music for the film. The song “Naane Neenante” has been released simultaneously in all five languages. In Kannada and Telugu, the male version has been sung by Sid Sriram, while the Kannada female version has been rendered by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Lahari Mahesh. The female versions in the other four languages have been sung by Sireesha. In Hindi, the male version is sung by Nihal Tauro, and in Tamil and Telugu, it is sung by Srikanth Hariharan.
Earlier, the combination of Shashank, Arjun Janya, and Sid Sriram had seen success with the song “Jagave Neenu Gelethiyye” from the film Love 360. The team reports that “Naane Neenante” is also receiving good responses across languages and is gaining high viewership online. Following the release of the song, members of the film team shared their thoughts.
Lead actor Darling Krishna said, “After Kausalya Supraja Rama, this is my next collaboration with Shashank sir. The look in this film has been appreciated, and I thank Shashank and the team for that. The song released today has come out well. Arjun Janya’s composition and the singing by Sid Sriram and Lahari suit the mood of the track. Another song from the film will be released next month, which is a personal favourite of my daughter.”
Director Shashank added, “Every song in my combination with Arjun Janya has been well received, and Naane Neenante will join that list. This is the most expensive song in my cinematic journey. It took nearly six months to finalise the tune. Producer Manjunath has made sure there were no compromises in making this track. Sid Sriram’s voice is a perfect fit in Kannada and Telugu. Nihal Tauro has sung the Hindi version, while Srikanth Hariharan has sung in Tamil and Malayalam. Lahari Mahesh has sung the Kannada female version, and Sireesha has voiced the female versions in the other four languages. I have written the Kannada lyrics. The song is released through Anand Audio. The rest of the songs will be released soon, and if everything goes as planned, the film will release in October.”
Producer Manjunath Kandakur said, “After the support we received for our first production First Rank Raju, this is our second film. This song composed by Arjun Janya is melodious, and the film will hit screens shortly.”
Lead actress Manisha Kandakur stated, “I am originally from Karnataka, and this is my debut in Kannada cinema. I play the role of a middle-class girl named Manisha in the film. Naane Neenante is my favourite among the songs released so far.”
Singer Lahari, Anand Audio’s Shyam, choreographer Kalai Master, and cinematographer Abhishek Kalathi also shared their views on the song during the event.
