The song “Midnightu Rastheyalli” from the upcoming film “S/O Muthanna”, starring Pranam Devaraj and Kushee Ravi, has been released. The film is set to release on August 22.
Directed by Srikanth Hunsur and produced by Puratana Films in association with SRK Films, the movie features Pranam Devaraj, the second son of Dynamic Star Devaraj, in the lead role. Kushee Ravi, known for her role in “Dia”, plays the female lead.
The newly released song “Midnightu Rastheyalli” has lyrics written by Yogaraj Bhat, vocals by Sanjith Hegde, and music composed by Sachin Basrur. According to the team, the song has received significant viewership since its release.
Speaking at the launch, the team mentioned that the film has a total of four songs. The first song, “Kammangi Nanna Magane”, was released earlier and received good response. Sachin Basrur stated that two more songs will be released soon. Both of the already released songs are written by Yogaraj Bhat.
The film is based on a father-son relationship, with Rangayana Raghu and Pranam Devaraj portraying the father and son roles, respectively. A significant portion of the shoot took place in Varanasi.
Director Srikanth Hunsur mentioned that Devaraj had appreciated the story when he first heard it and later praised the film after watching it.
Actor Pranam Devaraj stated that the film is centered around the bond between a father and son, and also includes a love story. He highlighted that there are no action sequences in the film and added that the script and screenplay are simple. He shared his experience of working with Rangayana Raghu and thanked the team for their support in completing the film. He noted that his film is releasing after seven and a half years.
The song “Midnightu Rastheyalli” was sung live on stage by Sanjith Hegde. Dhananjay Master has choreographed the song. Pranam mentioned that the choreography complements the track.
Kushee Ravi said she plays a doctor named Saakshi in the film. She added that this is her seventh film as a lead actress. While she is getting opportunities in other languages, she expressed disappointment over not receiving enough offers in Kannada.
Cinematographer Skating Krishna spoke about the cinematography, and choreographer Dhanu Master shared insights on the dance direction. Editor Harish Komme was also present during the press meet.
