The trailer of Eltuu Muthaa, directed by Ra. Surya, was officially launched recently at Victory Cinemas. Veteran producer S.A. Chinne Gowda released the trailer.
The event saw the presence of several dignitaries including actors Kishore Kumar, Manoranjan Ravichandran, G.B. Vinay Kumar (Insights IAS Academy), and DYSP L.Y. Rajesh, who extended their best wishes to the film team.
Eltuu Muthaa, which is being presented under the banner of High 5 Studios, is produced by Satya S. Srinivasan. The film features Shaurya Pratap, Ra. Surya, and Priyanka Malali in lead roles. It is scheduled for release on August 1 across Karnataka through Sridhar Kripa Enterprises.
Speaking at the event, producer Satya S. Srinivasan expressed happiness over the response received for the two songs and the teaser of the film. He specifically noted that the song in the Kodava language has gained significant views. He added that the film team has started a promotional tour and will be visiting multiple towns across the state ahead of the release.
Director Ra. Surya, who also plays the role of Eltuu in the film, said that Eltuu Muthaa tells the story of two characters — Eltuu and Muthaa — and revolves around those who sound the drums of death. The film is set in the Coorg region and is inspired by real-life incidents the director witnessed from a young age.
Actor Shaurya Pratap, who plays the character Muthaa, said he has been involved with the team since the writing stage. He mentioned this is his debut film and shared confidence that the response to the teaser, songs, and trailer signals positive expectations for the film.
Ruhan Arya, described as an emerging actor, has also worked as the executive producer. Music director and singer Prasanna Keshav expressed satisfaction over the songs’ reception.
The film features several experienced actors including Priyanka Malali (female lead), Cockroach Sudhi, Naveen D Padil, and Yamuna Srinidhi.
Co-producer Pavindra Ponnappa and distributor Sridhar were also present at the press conference.
