The trailer of Rajanivasa, released in four South Indian languages—Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam—was unveiled by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike State President T.A. Narayana Gowda.
Produced by D.P. Anjanappa, co-produced by Lokesh Gowda, and directed by Mithun, the film stars Raghav Nayak, Krithika, and Srinagar Kitty in a special role. The trailer, screened at a crowded gathering, received a tremendous response.
Actor Aditya, producers Uday K. Mehta, Sanjay Gowda, Veerakaputra Srinivas, Robert Christopher, Ramesh Gowda, and several other dignitaries were present at the event and extended their best wishes to Rajanivasa.
Speaking after releasing the trailer, State President T.A. Narayana Gowda said, “I feel very sad when I hear about the current state of the Kannada film industry. I have been discussing issues concerning the industry with senior film leaders. In the past, I was involved in many struggles on behalf of the film industry, alongside Dr. Rajkumar. There are many senior artists and technicians who have served Kannada cinema. In this regard, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike will soon organize an award ceremony to honor such luminaries. We plan to give not just a memento, but also a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. We have already spoken to several senior industry figures about this initiative.”

He further added, “Producer Anjanappa has worked for the cause of Kannada for many years. I sincerely wish that his production Rajanivasa becomes a great success.”
On the film’s theme and comparisons, Gowda mentioned, “When you see the Rajanivasa trailer, some may be reminded of Kantara. But our film was initiated before Kantara; it just happened to release earlier. After watching Kantara, we made several changes to our own film. Now, Rajanivasa is ready for release in all four South Indian languages. The trailer was launched today on the Anand Audio YouTube channel, and the first song will be released soon.”
Director Mithun expressed gratitude to the producers and the entire film crew for their cooperation, stating that the film has shaped up as envisioned.
Producer Anjanappa began his speech by thanking Narayana Gowda for launching the trailer and expressed his appreciation for all the dignitaries present. “I’m overwhelmed by the positive response our trailer has received. The director and the team have worked hard to make this film visually impressive. Many of my friends, including co-producer Lokesh Gowda, have supported me throughout. I was also a student at Kalamandir, where I came in contact with several industry professionals. I am confident that our film will be well received not only in Karnataka but across India.”
Since the trailer launch coincided with Guru Poornima, actress Kruthika acknowledged her mother as her first guru. She urged the gathering at MMB Legacy Hall to join in singing the Naada Geethe “Jayabharatha Jananiya…”. Expressing her gratitude, she said, “I am truly thankful to producer Anjanappa and Lokesh Gowda for taking such good care of me during the shoot. Director Mithun is a perfectionist, and it was a pleasure working under his direction.”
Lead actor Raghava revealed that he plays a dual-shaded character in the film, who is on a mission to unravel a mystery. “The film began in 2020, and every department has faced its share of challenges,” he said.
Co-producer Lokesh Gowda also thanked everyone for their support.
Artists such as Ninasam Ashwath, Yamuna Srinidhi, Sahana, and music director Vijay Yardley were also present at the event.
