“I am with no tension. I am carrying the role of Dr. Shivarajakumar in my head after watching the film 45. I am so indebted to Shivarajakumar ji for carrying the role so well. It has been a three-year journey in my life with this film,” stated a very humble yet lavish producer Ramesh Reddy (Nangli), addressing a huge media gathering on Saturday night.
“Dr. Shivarajakumar is like Rajakumar sir to me. He has been so kind and courteous throughout the film. His strength is like a hill. I think Lord Shiva has blessed Shivarajakumar in doing this role. Upendra lifting the jeep, Raj B. Shetty running throughout the film—the subject and narration are something no one has done before.”
The film depicts the culture of every household and how we should uphold it. First-time director Arjun Janya has delivered a film as if he already has experience working in the Hindi and Hollywood cinema industries.
Producer Ramesh Reddy, thanking everyone connected to the film with the help of production manager Ravishanker by his side, said, “We showed the film first, and then the distribution setup picked it up.”
“At 2 a.m., the Telugu audience watched the film. Tamil and Malayalam followed one by one. KVN is our main Kannada distributor. The North side and overseas are taken care of by Zee. All of them asked one question—how did the idea come to your director? It all happened twenty days before the release.”
Ramesh Reddy assured that children to 80-year-olds can watch and enjoy this film. Speaking about the film’s lavishness, he gave an example: for one particular occasion, five tons of arishina (turmeric) were used for the shoot.
“I think it is difficult for anyone to take up this film. You watch this 2 hours and 26 minutes of cinema—you will definitely appreciate it,” disclosed the confident producer Ramesh Reddy of Suraj Productions.
