The film 4.30 – 6 Muhurtha: Nalvaru Kaanasuttilla, produced under the banners Neelakantha Films and Dharmashree Enterprises, was launched recently at Renukamba Theatre. The movie is produced by Dharmashree Manjunath (of Rathavara fame) and D. Yogaraj, and directed by Poovai Suresh and Shivaraj.
The film marks the debut of M.N. Suchith, son of producer Dharmashree Manjunath, as the lead actor, while Satvika plays the female lead. Anil and Mangaluru-based Dhanya play the second lead pair. The launch coincided with Suchith’s birthday, adding a special touch to the occasion.
Speaking at the press meet after the muhurtha, the team shared details about the project. Producer D. Yogaraj stated that this is the fifth film under the Neelakantha Films banner, being jointly produced with Dharmashree Enterprises. He said the story of 4.30 – 6 Muhurtha: Nalvaru Kaanasuttilla highlights the value of human relationships. Set in the 1990s, the film reflects on how weddings used to be grand celebrations where invitations were personally delivered to every home — unlike today’s digital era. The team aims to showcase the emotional bonds and traditions of that time.

The majority of the shoot will take place in Bengaluru, with song sequences planned in Chikkamagaluru and Mangaluru. D. Yogaraj added that M.N. Suchith has acted in a few films earlier but will now be seen as a lead actor through this project.
Producer Dharmashree Manjunath said, “Producing a film for my son was not difficult, but my wish was for him to first be recognized as a good actor. He has already acted in a few films and has trained well in acting. Now he takes on the lead role in this film. We seek everyone’s support for our joint production under Neelakantha Films and Dharmashree Enterprises.”
Lead actor M.N. Suchith said, “I have worked in a few films before, but this is my first as a hero. I have trained in acting and stunts under D. Yogaraj Sir’s guidance. I am grateful for my father’s blessings and hope the audience supports our new venture.”
Directors Poovai Suresh and Shivaraj, co-star Anil, actress Dhanya, artistes Ramesh Rai and Rekha Das, and costume designer Susheela Yogaraj also spoke about the film and their roles.
